Job Qualifications: (A = minimum; B = preferred)
A. Bachelor’s degree in a technical area or equivalent work experience
B. Advanced degree preferred
A. Minimum of four years experience in data warehouse/business intelligence architecture, design and development. Significant experience as BI/DW architect on several BI/DW initiatives / projects.
B. Previous experience in a healthcare industry, large-scale data warehousing, and/or exposure to Epic Systems Clarity.
B. Power BI & SharePoint Knowledge
A. Valid Texas driver’s license
4. Special Skills
A. Significant experience and expert-level technical knowledge in several of the following tools:
-MS SQL Database Services / Transact-SQL (T-SQL)
-MS SQL Analysis Services (SSAS)
-MS SQL Reporting Services (SSRS)
-MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
-Business Objects / Crystal Reports
-Other BI/DW Toolsets including Cognos, Microsoft, Oracle, Microstrategy
Demonstration of expert-level understanding and knowledge of the following topics:
-OLAP / Cubes
-KPIs, Scorecards, Dashboards
-Master Data Management
B. Advanced certification including:
MS SQL-related Certifications
Crystal Report-Related Certifications
A. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to change. Proven communication, presentation, analytical, problem solving, technical and writing skills. Ability to mentor team members in all aspects of BI/DW. Candidates must have a positive “can do” attitude and a professional demeanor.
