Supports the employee compensation function of the Clinic by conducting job analyses, market reviews and evaluations. Under the direction of the Compensation Manager, consults with clinic management regarding job descriptions and various compensation programs; provides analysis for new hire offers, promotions and internal job changes; and maintains compensation policies. Supports the position management process in collaboration with other department staff members. Collects, analyzes and maintains data to ensure the Clinic can attract and retain high quality employees based on market trends. Responds to salary surveys and maintains survey data. Supports the administration of salary increases and variable pay. Participates in ad hoc compensation projects as directed by the Compensation Manager.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
(A = basics; B = preferred)
Bachelors in Business, HR, Finance, or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years of directly related employee compensation experience.
Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
Ability to effectively influence, negotiate and prepare recommendations / issues related to compensation matters
Exceptional presentation and organization skills.
Must be customer focused and demonstrate integrity and trust.
Able to negotiate, organize, plan, and problem solve. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment with colleagues and other employees
Strong analytical skills.
Advanced computer proficiency and technical aptitude using Word, Excel and Power Point.
Able to use Human Resource Information Systems.
Visio and Access skills.
Experience using Lawson (Infor)
