DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The ASR I is responsible to handle and direct incoming calls to the correct individual or department in a courteous and friendly manner. The ASR I is responsible to assist with medical records functions and general clerical tasks. The ASR I must maintain a neat and professional appearance and an organized work area.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
(A = basics; B = preferred)
High School diploma or G.E.D.
Associate in related field
Three months experience in answering a telephone system.
Six months of customer service experience.
+1 year experience in answering a multi-line telephone system.
+1 year of customer service experience. Familiarity with PBX online reporting system.
Demonstrated PC and keyboarding skills. Able to deliver excellent customer service with a courteous, compassionate and friendly demeanor.
Excellent telephone etiquette and active listening skills delivered with clear tone of voice.
EMR/Epic, Word, Excel, familiarity with medical terminology desirable
Fluent in English, verbal and written.
Professional appearance and grooming.
