    JOB SUMMARY

    Under general supervision of the Director of Population Health/Case Management and/or as part of various workgroups and teams, the Senior Population Health Analyst will lead in coordinating, facilitating, and conducting report development, report writing, and comparative analysis. Our team employs advanced analytics to gain critical insights into member behavior drivers and preferences, product/program concepts and value propositions, operational effectiveness and efficiencies, and client specific health gaps and needs. We consult business leaders and internal partners to apply the insights to test and drive product innovation and enhancement, to target the right members for the right program, to measure program outcome and demonstrate value, to help win and retain clients, and to support information based strategic decision making.

     

     

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    Education

    A.

    BA/BS required in relevant field(s) of study such as healthcare administration, management information systems, statistics or business administration

    Experience

    A.

    • 5+ years of experience conducting analyses and delivering analytical results to internal and external executive leadership, in health care plan, ACO, MSO, consulting or health service delivery organization

    Special Skills

    A.

    • Proficiency in analyzing a wide array of data types, including medical and pharmacy claims, clinical process and outcome data, e.g., HEDIS and other performance metrics and survey data.

    • Strong background in program / project management.

    • Demonstrated excellence in people/process management and planning.

    • Strong leadership, presentation, communication (written/verbal) and information gathering and the ability to interact with various client groups.

    • Ability to work within and manage an organization through significant organizational change.

    • Ability to work in a complex and matrixed team environment; experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

    • Ability to handle multiple tasks, schedule, and meet deadlines.

    • Strong knowledge of MS programs e.g. Word, Excel, Access, & PowerPoint.
