This position supports user experience and communications efforts with a focus on planning and implementation. The Senior User Experience Designer will support user-centered design efforts, lead front-end development, and participate in user testing. As a member of the e-Business team, the Senior User Experience Designer works collaboratively with IS and clinic business owners to improve and enhance end-user experience and interaction with web-related sites and applications. Performs site and application audits, develops flow and navigation maps, user stories and scenarios, user segmentations and persona, site maps and content inventories, wireframes and storyboards, prototypes, written specifications, and graphic mock ups. Works with business owners/graphic designers to incorporate the visual identity of web site and/or application features. Works with front-end e-Business developers translating static mockups and wireframes into working interactive application experiences.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
(A = basics; B = preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in a technical area or equivalent work experience
|Advanced degree preferred|
Minimum of four years’ experience in the areas of Web/UX design
|Four or more years’ experience in the areas of UX design|
Healthcare-related web portal and applications UX design experience.
Valid Texas driver’s license
Experience and/or development of five (5) or more of the following:
Advanced training and/or certification in UX Design
Flexibility and the ability to adapt to change. Proven communication, presentation, analytical, problem solving, technical and writing skills. Candidates must have a positive “can do” attitude and a professional demeanor.
