The Pharmacist should be certified in Beacon with a primary IT responsibility of building approved drug protocols into the Beacon system as well as guidance on best practice workflows for EPIC. Additional knowledge required for the position should include Sterile compounding, USP 797 workflows and Texas Pharmacy law. The clinical focus will be in Hematology/Oncology working closely with the physician team in monitoring patients on chemotherapy.
